A couple of funny things from Levi recently...
When we told him he was going to be a big brother again, I asked him if he'd rather have a brother or a sister. "A brother" was his response. When we asked him the first time what he wanted to name the new baby, his answer was "Levi". We told him we couldn't name the new baby "Levi", because that was his name. He said, "Then we can call him, 'Levi number 2'." He held fast to that name during all subsequent questioning. Until...
After we knew we were having a girl, we asked him what we should name her. His response was again, "Levi number 2." We told him Levi was a boy's name and that we needed to come up with a girl's name. He thought for a moment and said, "Then we should name her, Roo." After a little while longer he said, "Then when she grows up, we can call her, Kanga." Well, just so you all know, Levi won (sort-of). Baby #3 is affectionately being called, "Baby Roo", at least while she's in utero.
Last week, Levi and I were talking about how we were going to need to get a van so that we could all fit in the same vehicle once Baby Roo arrived. He asked if Daddy was going to get a van, too. I said that only Mama was getting a van. He asked why, and I told him because vans are very expensive. He said, "Just like carousels." At first I thought he was talking about buying a carousel. Then he started talking about how riding the carousel over and over and over would be very expensive, but how just one ride wouldn't be too expensive.
