Hair Cut

Kevin took Levi for a hair cut on Friday. Kevin bragged about how well Levi did. He let Ms. Debbie use all the big boy tools on his hair.

Here are the results:

(Yes, he still loves to chew on and suck the water out of washcloths!)

Kevin's boys had a soccer tournament this weekend, so Levi and I had the whole day together on Saturday. He's so much fun! We ran errands, and he waved to just about every person we saw. He definitely stole a few hearts! ;-) He was my big helper, too: pushed buttons for the copier, carried envelopes, stirred ingredients together, picked up all his balls and books.

Visits

Khaki came last week for a visit during her school system's spring break. She and Levi had a whole day together before she drove me and Levi to Birmingham, so that I could start our house hunting efforts. We stayed at CC and Chris's house. This past weekend, Levi finally started calling my youngest sister Audy and even learned to say "Chris". Levi also learned to say "Mia" (CC and Chris's dog), but sometimes he called her "Mimi". Khaki and Q went to the winter Olympics and brought each of us back a gift. In this picture, Levi is wearing his hockey t-shirt and Chris's toboggan.

As an aside: the house hunting did not result in an offer, but it has helped us realize what we don't want or need.

The weather was beautiful on Saturday, and Kevin broke out Levi's "real" golf club again.

Kevin thinks that Levi has the right idea when it comes to golfing: just keep hitting the ball without waiting on anyone else. At the end of this clip, he's showing us where he's going to hit the ball next.

At the end of this clip, he's checking out his new club.

On Tuesday, Levi visited the allergist again. Nothing really to report, because he really seems to be doing better since he started taking the Singulair. She was sad to hear that we are moving and asked us to send pictures of Levi since she "pretty much raised Kevin."
Levi weighed about 28.8 pounds.

What's Your Name?

Speaks for itself, I think.

Pow and Kick

Levi played hard last night: golf, soccer, baseball, football. I wanted to get a video clip of him playing soccer, because he acts so determined when he's kicking, but I wasn't quick enough. When he saw that I had the camera, he thought he needed to play "pow!" and that he needed to see himself in the camera. Then, I decided I'd just take a picture of him, but he wanted to WATCH himself play "pow". He finally decided he'd play for me to take a new video - but for only one swing! He couldn't understand why the "clip" was just one second long and really didn't even have any "pow" in it! I explained that I needed him to play longer. He finally acquiesced and actually let me take several clips, but I just loved Levi's expression after he hits this golf ball.

Tonight, I got a soccer clip. It's not as good as I had hoped, but he again didn't quite understand why I would want a soccer clip when he can play golf! He tends to prefer kicking with his left foot, which is why I think he backs up and gets another run at it...
