It seems to have become a tradition for us to go to the A-Day Game. We tailgated at the same spot we had last year, thanks to our cousin staking it out for us. I found a cheerleader outfit for Kara Jane at a recent sale.
Levi loved playing football and frisbee with Q and his cousins.
Before I took the girls to the stadium at half time, we made the trip to see Toomer's Corner. The trees were already covered in toilet paper, but it was still bittersweet to see.
Then the kids got to get on the field. The sun was bright, and my kids apparently don't know how to smile for the camera.
Yet again, Kara Jane was not too sure about the AU girls.
We were invited to a horse riding birthday party. We walked up to the corral, and Levi walked right in as if he'd ridden a horse every day of his life. I was shocked - and pleased!
He ended up riding a horse at least three times! Kara Jane on the other hand didn't want to get close to the horses.
She did like playing with her Bubba and cousins.
Party favors included a cowboy hat and handkerchief.
