Liza Roo is a pro at rolling over from her back to her stomach. She loves to watch things (i.e. Levi and Kara Jane) from her tummy - her skydive pose as Daddy says. She's definitely the smallest of our babies at this age, but she is full of love and joy. When she's excited, she kicks her legs like she can hardly contain herself. It is so precious. The biggest "kicks" are usually for her big brother or big sister, with Mama and Daddy very close seconds. So far, it looks like her eyes will stay blue, just like Levi and KJ. Hard to believe this brown eyed girls has three blue eyed kids! Levi likes to tell me that they're winning four to one.
Levi's school had a spring program, which ended with the pre-K graduation.
Levi was very excited to see CC, Q, Mama, and Daddy
He sang all the songs, even did most of the motions.
He was all smiles when he got his diploma.
He requested a picture by the #1, since that was his number in t-ball.
Then, he thought it would be fun to have his picture by the letter A, too.
A picture with his sweet teacher, who did a phenomenal job teaching Levi. I know that he is ready for kindergarten with all the preparation she gave.
The only problem now is that I'm not sure I'm ready for him to go to kindergarten!!
Our last day. We have had such a great vacation. I can hardly believe it is almost over...
A few rides and then an early lunch of pizza make for a happy boy.
A few more rides and some play time under the big top while we waited to ride Dumbo.
The trick of standing to one side while Daisy slid over worked again.
It also worked for Minnie, but the photographer didn't have our camera. So sad since Minnie is Kara Jane's favorite right now.
Levi and KJ played in the water while we waited a little longer for our Fast Pass time on Barnstormer.
Kara Jane is our water bug.
Do you see me and Levi?
See Kevin and Levi?
Levi and Kara Jane fell asleep while we walked to Frontierland, so Kevin and I watched one of the parades, Kevin got a Fast Pass for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Kevin watched the Hall of Presidents while they napped
After the roller coaster, Levi decided he'd like to try Splash Mountain. While we waited for our Fast Pass on that ride, Kara Jane and I rode It's a Small World (twice) and the carousel, while Levi and Kevin rode the Haunted Mansion and watched Philharmagic.
Do you see Kevin and Levi? Find the red shirt, that's Kevin.
Kevin took this of poor Kara Jane while she waited and waited for me and Levi to come down Splash Mountain.
Levi and I got to ride in the front row.
We decided we'd watch the Electric Parade one more time, so we wasted some time with a few pictures...
and a little playtime...
While Levi, Kara Jane, and I kept our place on the sidewalk, Kevin ran from one side of the park to the other to get the last souvenirs for all the kids. Ears for Kara Jane
and Levi.
Liza Roo got a souvenir, too. I'll take a picture of her with it once she gets it.
A few parting shots of our last few moments at the Magic Kingdom.
We can't wait to come back with all five of us!!
Would a day at Disney World be complete without a visit to the Magic Kingdom? Apparently not for the Hughes family. That only means that Mama and Kara Jane got to ride "It's a Small World" and the carousel each at least once on each of our days at Disney World. The things you do for your kids!
When we first arrived, though, it was snack time. Then we went to meet Mickey. Again, Kara Jane acted like she wanted to for a few minutes while we were in line, but she would have nothing to do with him once we were in the room to meet him.
We'd gotten a Fast Pass to meet the princesses, in hopes that Kara Jane might be willing to get her picture taken with them. Again, she seemed very excited to meet Rapunzel, and then right when it was her turn, she turned to me with her arms up, "Hold you me." (Have I told you that phrase of hers yet? Melt my heart!!) So, our boy met Rapunzel without his little sister.
Next was Aurora (i.e. Sleeping Beauty), and for some reason the look below got to Kara Jane.
Success!!!
Then, it was time to meet Cinderella. Again, Kara seemed unsure, so we left it to Levi to break the ice.
Then, Kara Jane decided she'd show Cinderella her princess shirt,
and voila - a picture of my Levi and KJ with Cinderella!
We rode a few more things, and then watched a Move It, Shake It parade.
We did a few more things, and then Levi decided he wanted to try Big Thunder Railroad. Kara Jane and I watched from an observation point, where she thought it was a little loud.
Levi ended up riding it three times in a row with Daddy. I can't believe our little daredevil!!
Can you see him with Kevin in this picture?
Can you see them now?
What about in this one?
What about now?
Levi amazed me with his exuberance. I really never imagined he'd ride as many roller coasters as he did.
