Levi loves his cozy coupe. He also loves to watch his reflection in the oven, which is what he's watching in this clip.We also got some good news today... Kevin was accepted into grad school! I was offered a job a few months ago at the corporate office which will start in June, so it looks like the Hughes family will be moving in about four months!
Levi watched a video clip on YouTube of Phil Mickelson winning the 2004 Masters and caught onto one part of the video very quickly. You can see it at about 3:21 on this video. Or you can just watch Levi's version...
Kevin and I thought it would be fun to capture some of Levi's first words the other night.
I guess Kevin and I can feel good that Levi said our names before he said, "Papa". As you can tell by some of his other "first words", Levi also loves almost anything sports. He still doesn't say the correct name for any of the sports, but his choices are pretty cute. He is also still very fond of some of his favorite signs to use. I'll have to try videoing those soon.
I thought it would be fun to capture some of the jabbering that Levi thinks is talking, too.
As you can tell, we have quite a communicator on our hands.
Levi has twelve teeth. You can see a couple of the back ones in this picture I took tonight. Hopefully, we'll be able to get an appointment for his first dentist's visit in the next couple of weeks.
Levi still loves golf (aka "pow" around here). He is doing really well teeing up the ball and hitting it. Every once in a while, he gets the ball in the "hole" (one of Levi's newest words). Never in a million years did I think that I would let my son swing a golf club, let alone hit a ball, in the house. But, how else can you foster a little boy's love of something that is supposed to be an outdoor sport when it is below freezing outside? The things you do for love...
Kevin and I think he's becoming quite the golfer.
We've had a couple of rough weeks around here health-wise for all of us, thus the lack of pictures and posts. Hopefully, my delinquent picture taking and postings are a thing of the past.
